Bear was our introduction into malamutes and what an introduction that was. He just loved life and being with people. Bear’s best friend was Smudge the cat who he often curled up with.

Bear was shown lightly and qualified for Crufts 2006, but he never took to showing and preferred to go backpacking, on walks with his friends and pulling the rig with Kira (our poodle, the honorary malamute).
