What a crazy start to the year we have had, here at Samjoe Malamutes I can safely say that we have all been doubled jabbed and Jacob has had his tonsils removed.

2020-2021

Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic wiping out most of the shows this year we had to find other ways of keeping ourselves entertained. We did this by working on our Dog Parkour titles. Aggie gained her Dog Parkour UK – Built Environment Foundation Level 1 title and her Dog Parkour UK – Built Environment Challenge Level 1 title. Cassie gained her Dog Parkour UK – Built Environment Puppy Level 0 title.

The Malamute of the Year Awards were announced and Team Samjoe had a fabulous year in 2019 gaining the following…

 At Wath & West Melton Open Show Aggie wins Best of Breed and Working Group 4 under Derek Allsopp.

At Heywood & Ratcliffe Open Show Aggie wins Best of Breed and Working Group 3 under Glynn Payne

2019-2018

Tabatha wins DOG OF THE YEAR at Huddersfield & DIstict Canine Association.

At Stockport Open Show Tabatha wins Best of Breed and Group 3.

At Hyde Open Show Aggie wins Best of Breed and Group 2 whilst Mikka wins the Veteran Working Group.

What a fabulous but very long day at Craven! Tabby wins her class, Aggie 1st, BEST OF BREED and WORKING GROUP 1, and Mikka wins BEST VETERAN IN THE WORKING GROUP!!!

At Clitheroe Open Show Aggie wins Best of Breed and Group 4 whilst Mikka wins the Veteran Working Group.

Samjoe Kennel UK Alaskan Malamutes

Aggie wins Limit Bitch at Darlington Championship Show under Dr Ron James. This gives her, her STUDBOOK NUMBER and also QUALIFIES HER FOR CRUFTS FOR LIFE. Advert by Wintadreama Design.

At Preston Open Show Aggie wins Best of Breed and Working Group 4 with Mikka winning Best Working Veteran.

At Wombwell Open Show Aggie wins Best of Breed and Working Group 3.

At Chesterfield and Pinxton Open Show Aggie wins Best of Breed and Working Group 3.

At Pollard Open Show Aggie wins Best of Breed.

At Deane Open Show 2019 Mikka wins Best Working Veteran and then RESERVE BEST VETERAN IN SHOW under Derek Allsop.

WELKS CH Show 2019 sees Aggie gain another Best Special Beginner in Breed and Special Beginner Group 2.

Crufts 2019, Tabatha gets a 3rd in Junior Bitch and Aggie gets a 3rd in Post Graduate and 1st in Good Citizens. These placings QUALIFY BOTH GIRLS FOR CRUFTS 2020.

At Ashton-Under-Lyne Open Show Aggie wins Best of Breed.

City of Birmingham CH Show 2018, Tabatha is awarded another Best Puppy Bitch under Breed Specialist John Philips.

WKC CH Show 2018 sees Tabatha gain another Best Puppy Bitch under Richard Kinsey.

East of England CH Show 2018, Tabatha is awarded Best Puppy Bitch but the star of the day is Aggie who wins Best Special Beginner in Breed. She then goes onto win Special Beginner Group 1.

Leeds CH Show 2018 sees Nicola Singh award Tabatha Best Puppy in Breed and Aggie Best Special Beginner in Breed, she also then goes onto win Special Beginner Group 2.

Blackpool CH Show 2018 and Dave Killilea awards Tabatha Best Puppy Bitch.

At the AMCUK Open Show 2018 Tabatha is awarded RESERVE BEST PUPPY IN SHOW.

WELKS CH Show 2018 sees the introduction of the Special Beginners groups at championship shows. Aggie makes history by being the first malamute to be awarded Best Special Beginner in Breed but then goes onto win Special Beginner Group 4. Tabatha gets a 2nd in Minor Puppy QUALIFYING HER FROM CRUFTS 2019.

Aggie attends her first Crufts 2018 and came 2nd in Junior Bitch and 1st in Good Citizens Bitch under Simon Luxmore. These placings have also QUALIFIED HER FOR CRUFTS 2019.

2017-2016
Aggie goes BEST PUPPY IN SHOW at the AMCUK Open Show 2017 under Barry Bluden. (I have a photo for this, I will put it into the highlights folder)
 
Aggie attends her first show and gains a 2nd in Minor Puppy Bitch QUALIFYING HER FOR CRUFTS 2018. 
 
Crufts 2017  and Mikka gains a 3rd in Good Citizens Dog.
 
Leeds CH Show 2016, Tova gained 3rd Veteran Bitch QUALIFYING HER FOR CRUFTS 2017.
  
Blackpool CH Show 2016 saw Christina Chapman award Mikka Best Veteran Dog, QUALIFYING HIM FOR CRUFTS 2017.
 
2015-2014
Driffield CH Show 2015, Zara wins 1st Alaskan Malamute Post Graduate Bitch and 1st Alaskan Malamute Good Citizens Bitch! Zara has now QUALIFIED FOR CRUFTS 2016!  
 
Bolton Open Show 2015 , Tova is awarded Best Veteran in Working Group and BEST VETERAN IN SHOW!  
 
CRUFTS 2015  Junior was awarded a Res in the Alaskan Malamute Good Citizens Dog class and Zara was awarded a VHC in the Alaskan Malamute Good Citizens Bitch class.
 
Blackpool CH Show 2014, Frank Kane awarded Zara a 3rd in Alaskan Malamute Minor Puppy Bitch and Junior a 3rd in Alaskan Malamute Minor Puppy Dog, both QUALIFYING FOR CRUFTS 2015.
 
At Huddersfield & DCA Show 2014, Tova wins Best Veteran in the Working Group and goes onto win BEST VETERAN IN SHOW!  
2013-2012
In 2013 Tova gains her Show Certificate of Merit and can now be known as Chayo Canadian Dream for Samjoe ShCM.  
 
At Blackpool CH show 2013 Olivia is awarded 3rd in Post Graduate Bitch under Judge Mr Andrew Brace. This means that Olivia is now QUALIFIED FOR CRUFTS 2014!  
 
In 2012 Mikka gains his Show Certificate of Merit and can now be known as Samjoe Hollow Horn Bear ShCM.
 
At Darlington CH show 2012  Olivia was 3rd in Junior Bitch QUALIFYING HER FOR CRUFTS 2013. 
2011-2010
Olivia is awarded Best Baby in Speciality Show 2011 at the Estonian Malamute Speciality under breed specialist Sharon Loades.
 
At Blackpool Championship Show 2010 Ferelith Somerfield awarded Tova a 2nd in Alaskan Malamute Limit Bitch, QUALIFYING HER FOR CRUFTS 2011. Barrie Croft gave Kimmi a 2nd in YKC Stakes, QUALIFYING HER FOR YKC STAKES AT CRUFTS 2011.
 

At Birmingham National Championship Show 2010 Breed Specialist Sue Smith (Zeelukzak) gave Kimmi a 3rd in Alaskan Malamute Junior Bitch, QUALIFYING HER FOR CRUFTS 2011.
