Judge’s Critiques…

“Edwinstowe Open Show 2010 (Alaskan Malamute Post Graduate) – Colin Langham
What a cracking 19 month old black and white boy. Has excellent proportions which present a picture of power and balance. Strong well-boned and has a lovely deep chest. Beautiful head leading to a well-arched neck. Powered round the ring on good feet too! Was in very good coat and in a beautiful condition. Pity he didn’t have more competition but certainly could not deny him the BOB & WG1.”

Hillsboro’ Open Show 2010 (Alaskan Malamute Post Graduate) – Merv Casling
“Soundly made upstanding dog with good head and ear carriage, nice deep chest with good length of rib, holds his topline on the move, which he does well. RBOB.”

Nottingham Sherwood Foresters Open Show 2011 (Alaskan Malamute Post Graduate) – Matthew Anderson
“Beautiful boy. Head was broad, powerful looking and in proportion to body. Nice bite and lip placement. Eyes almond shaped and ears well apart. Extremely well put together dog, lots of substance. Coat was in excellent condition and moved with great drive. BOB and was pleased to see him go on to do well in the group.”

Edwinstowe Open Show 2012 (AVNSC Working Post Graduate) – Hillary Mitchell
“Dog with a good head, eye and bite. Strong front and correct feet, good overall shape, moved and covered the ground well. B AVNSC W, WG1.”

Fylde Open Show 2012 (AVNSC Working Open) – Richard Kinsey
“Well-built male all through. Strong in head without being overdone or coarse in any way. Powerful front assembly and completely balanced in rear. Deep in chest, correct in ribs with top line sloping gently to defined quarters. Plenty of bone and substance throughout. Handled efficiently to cope better than the others on the flooring with spot on foot fall and good length of stride to take BAVNSC & WG1”

Wombwell Open Show 2013 (Alaskan Malamute Post Graduate) – Kath Moffat
“4 years old dog with good head preferred his body proportions to my previous class winner. Acceptable front and rear angulation with good tailset. Moved well enough to show some good reach and drive. BOB & G4.”

Preston Open Show 2013 (Alaskan Malamute Post Graduate) – Kelly Lawless
“Nice sized male in good coat. Masculine head with good depth of muzzle. Nice dark eye of correct shape. Good ears, of correct shape, well set and used well to set off expression. Good reach of neck into well placed shoulders. Level topline with correct tailset. Good chest. Well angulated front and rear. Moved very well and well presented. Lovely temperament, nice and vocal in the ring. BOB & G3.”
